Print-Ready Artwork Guidelines
Use this checklist to reduce proofing delays and help your printed colors, images, text and finishing reproduce as intended.
- Build files at final size unless a large-format scale is clearly noted
- Add 0.125 inch bleed on standard print products when required
- Keep important text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside trim
- Use CMYK color for process printing and identify required spot colors
- Supply raster images at 300 PPI at final size for most print products
- Use vector artwork for logos, lettering, cut vinyl and contour-cut paths
- Embed or outline fonts and remove unused hidden artwork
- Submit multipage PDFs in reading order with consistent page sizes
- Do not add printer marks unless the product template requests them
- For large format, confirm scale, viewing distance, panels and finishing
